RESIDENCY

The Residency Program is addressed to designers, artists, ceramists and architects. This program is one of the most important DCK activities offering development in contemporary ceramic design. Professional production facility makes possible the transformation of experimental ceramics into realistic prototypes or products.

We invite artists from all creative fields who desire to develop a ceramic product or a collection of new works. The well-equipped industrial studio and the support of instructors will provide artists and designers with opportunities to carry out experimental work and product development in porcelain. DCK will also become a facility of significant educational and creative values for many people, who are creative, but are unfamiliar with ceramic technology and processes.

The studio will be open as well to students and graduates of design and art, participating in the Alternative Education Program.

Art & Design library, a collection of materials (synthetic and natural) and a computer lab for 3D design will make DCK the destination for broadening knowledge and getting familiar with new technologies.

  • Participation in the Residency Program will be determined on the basis of a submitted project and portfolio.
  • Length of the residency will be considered for each project individually and may last up to three months.
  • DCK will guarantee comfortable accommodation for program’s participants.
  • All deadlines and participation regulations may be found in Participation Regulation of the Program
