The main objective of this program is cooperation with Polish and foreign art schools and the students community in order to promote the medium of ceramics in contemporary design. This will enable gaining experience, completion of internships creating and executing ceramics works and diploma projects in professionally equipped studios having the assistance of qualified instructors.
The Alternative Education Program is viewed as widening of the academic studies of ceramics, going beyond the formal educational structure and providing students with “hands on experience” in the creation of a ceramic product in an industrial environment.
The aim of Alternative Education Program is to raise the level of creativity in the area of ceramic design, while offering a range of options, providing both support and the opportunity to experiment and create, while using various materials and ceramics processes.
The program is intended for students wishing to broaden their practical and artistic knowledge within this particular medium through participation in selected subjects:
- Ceramics practice
- Diploma projects
- Workshops on technical issues
- Graduates and portfolio (postgraduates)
- Study of ceramic design
- Curatorial practice and culture management
- Internship
Applications may be submitted through educational institutions (formal channels) and by individual students (based on provided portfolio).
